A wonderland is the Mukthi Naga Kshetra. Visiting this site, the devotees make nine pradakshinas (circumambulations) around the "hutta," or anthill, where the serpent resides, so making gifts to the Lord. Shortly after visiting this place, they have all found that their wishes had been granted. Every single woman who came here looking for the Lord's blessings has married. Every one of those who prayed for children has been blessed with children. And all have freely given to the temple once their wishes were granted. One man arrived in a car having spent seven months bedridden. The car could not go past the gate, though, as the road was under building and construction debris was all around. The guy asked the Lord, "O Lord, I have come here to get your darshana and your blessings. No sooner had he spoken this prayer than he felt energy rush within him; he alighted from the automobile and walked rapidly all the way to the temple. Please show pity on me. He said later, when he saw me, "I was bedridden to the extent that I was even unable to stand all these days. But the Lord gifted me with the walking energy. That allows me to come and speak with you right now. This is quite a miracle, really.After getting the darshana and prasada, another visitor asked the priest, "I was told this site contains a lot of serpens. Not even one snake has crossed my path. Why do people spread such falsehoods?Saying thus, he climbed into his car and headed for the main gate. He came into a large serpent blocking his route when he arrived at the entrance. Stunned at the sight, he alighted from the car, bowed respectfully, went back to the temple sanctum, apologised to the Lord and presented pooja for the second time. The serpent only let him depart the area then.
